Was reported from Florida State:
If a blueberry diet's maintained,
Blood pressure reduction is gained!
Berries that grow in the wild
Have a taste that is not very mild,
They're purple inside, and more tart
Than the whitefleshed one buys at the mart.
The study report did not name
The source, whence the blueberries came,
Thinking, the result were the same,
Whether wild berries they were, or tame....
But as in tests of this kind you'd expect,
They kept watch for placebo effects.
Yet I have a different query:
How a placebo you make for a berry?
It seems they used berries not fresh –
No matter the hue of their flesh
But a powder from berries they tried
That previously had been freeze dried...
So what will be the study's effect?
And what can the public expect?
Perhaps, to nobody's surprise,
An increase of the berries in price...
