In an inlet by the sea,
Lives a monster in the deep brine,
Unbeknownst to you and me.
Few have glimpsed his snake-like features, -
Those who did, swear he exists,
And describe his murky picture
As a shadow in the mist.
His existence quite a lure is:
It draws visitors galore,
Hordes of curious, anxious tourists
To the stormy Scottish shore.
In this age so scientific,
Someone surely will explain
If the riddle so terrific
Is the truth, or just a pain?
Is it man's imagination?
Just a shadow in the mist?
Or a true abomination,
Or a prehistoric beast?
Man has always conjured messy
Means, to ease his life's distress.
So, did he invent old Nessie,
Famous Monster of Loch Ness?
